KINK PRACTICES & WELLNESS
Some engage in BDSM as a means to re-empower themselves, turning negative or traumatic experiences (like sexual or physical abuse) and inverting them into acts of power and healing. Our kink-aware clinicians share their insights to help you navigate your sexual expression as a form of healing.

Curators from the GLBT Historical Society Museum speak to the depth and breadth of the the museum’s archives, and demonstrate the importance of queer history via wide-ranging exhibitions with an emphasis on diversity and social justice.

The Do’s & Don’ts of Anal Douching: Learn how to safely douche for anal play with tips on tools, water temperature, timing, and hygiene. Explore safe practices for a confident experience. Consent protocols, sex and kink shaming and other psychological factors that impact one’s ability to bottom will also be explored.
TRANSGENDER & NONBINARY WELLNESS
Transgender people have become targets of extreme political discrimination and violence. Learn the facts about who trans people are, the realities trans people face, and how our collective equality is connected to the safety and freedom of people who are transgender or non-binary.
SINGING FOR OUR LIVES: AN INTERGENERATIONAL SONG BOOK
Aligning with World AIDS Day, USF and Project Open House collaborated to connect AIDS survivors, poets and music students to create an intergenerational song book that captures the epidemic's challenges, emotions and loss. Hear a sampling of their work and meet the collaborators who created it.
MOVING PAST CONVERSION THERAPY
On March 31, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 8-1 against a Colorado law that banned licensed mental health professionals from performing conversion therapy on minors. The ruling potentially jeopardizes similar bans on conversion therapy for minors in over 20 other states.
